ARTiculate Our Rights
Temporary Exhibition: Exterior and 1800 sq. ft. interior – Canadian Museum for Human Rights
Role: Design Director / Art Director
ARTiculate Our Rights began as a project to mark the 150th anniversary of Manitoba becoming a province of Canada. Young people aged 13 to 18 were asked to submit artwork for consideration. More than 100 diverse works were chosen for two phases of display.

The first phase of this exhibition opened at The Forks, a gathering place where the Red and Assiniboine rivers meet. Art by 26 youths was presented on 13 large installations throughout the grounds. The second phase included a 1800 sq.ft. indoor mixed media presentation featuring all student submissions displayed across a 70' wide x 10' tall projection screen. The exhibition also included interviews from teachers, artists, curators and educators reflecting on human rights, art, and the work displayed.
